伪码调相雷达是相位编码雷达的一种，所谓的相位编码雷达就是用码字调制载频信号,通常码字的选择在某种意义上决定了其性能和处理的方式，相位编码根据其调相码字制式的不同，可分为多相编码和二相编码，根据调相码字有无周期性,可分为随机码调相和伪随机码调相。相位编码中比较常用的是二相码，二相码即采用两个相位状态对载频信号进行相位调制。在相位编码中，伪随机码由于其良好的性能和易实现等特点而得到了广泛的应用。(Pseudo phase coded pulse radar signal processing.)
