以统一的方式量化。量化，在数学和数字信号处理，是将一大组输入值映射到一个较小的 (可数名词) 集 — — 如舍入到某单位精度值的过程。设备或执行量化的算法函数被称为量化器。引入量化的舍入误差称为量化误差。在模拟-数字转换，实际的模拟值与量化的数字值之间的差异被称为量化误差或量化失真。此错误是由于舍入或截断。误差信号有时被建模为额外的随机信号，是因为其随机的行为叫做量化噪声。量化牵涉到某种程度上在几乎所有的数字信号处理中，通常表示一个信号在数字形式的过程涉及到舍入。量化也构成的核心本质上是 alllossy 压缩算法
