This m-file implements a simple data acquisition gui with multiple channels and custom triggering
It demonstrates how to:
1) Use nested functions to simplify data acquisition programs
2) Use a simple GUI (a couple of pushbuttons) to start and stop data acquisition.
3) Wait for an event/trigger (like a button press) and log pre-event or pre-trigger data from multiple synchronized channels.
4) Record pretrigger data based on custom criteria. In this m-file the triggering event is a button click. However, the event could be any custom criterion (e.g., the data amplitude is greater than a threshold *and* a toggle button is enabled).

WALKER Human gait.
This model, developed by Nikolaus Troje, is a five-term Fourier series
with vector-valued coefficients that are the principal components for
data obtained in motion capture experiments involving subjects wearing
reflective markers walking on a treadmill. The components, which are
also known as "postures" or "eigenwalkers", correspond to the static
position, forward motion, sideways sway, and two hopping/bouncing
movements that differ in the phase relationship between the upper and
lower portions of the body. The postures are also classified by gender.
Sliders allow you to vary the amount that each component contributes to
the overall motion. A slider setting greater than 1.0 overemphasizes
the characteristic. Can you see whether positive values of the gender
coefficient correspond to male or female subjects?

Considered a 16QAM communication system. The information rate is 2 Mb/s and the
carrier frequency is 12 GHz. Assumed perfect synchronization.
a) Simulated the system if the channel is AWGN and draw bit error rate of the system
versus Eb/No. Compare the results with what you obtain in theory.
b) Considered (15,11) Hamming code. Apply this code into the above system.
Compare the results with what you obtain in theory.
c) Simulated uncoded system if we have a Doppler Spread due to mobile movement
in the channel. Simulate and draw the bit error rate of the system for maximum
mobile speed 42.3 Km/Hour. No equalizer is used in the system.
d) Applied coding of part (b) into the system of part (c). Simulate the system and
discuss the results.
e) Designed an interleaver for the system of part (d) to improve the coded performance
results. Simulated the system.
