main executing reference usage: observeWaveletDecompositionBenchmark_N_levels.m The objective is to illustrate wavelet decomposition, and to describe how operations may be done in the wavelet domain before the reconstruction. This program calculates the scattering cross section of a PEC sphere that is surrounded by a dielectric shell. Diameters of the spheres and relative permitivities of the materials can be chosen by the user. The program uses matlab intern spherical bessel functions for the costly computations.
