N1092D 结合一台运行 N1010A FlexDCA 用户界面的 PC，组成完整的采样示波器系统。N109X 及 N1010A 系统中标配了执行发射机一致性测试所需要的基本测量功能，例如眼图模板、消光比和其他眼图参数测量。为降低成本，在 N1090A 中未提供 86100 的码型锁定功能，但可根据需要使用 N1092/4 选件 PLK 来添加。需要码型锁定的选件还包括：选件 200（高级抖动分析）、选件 201（高级波形分析）、选件 300 （高级幅度分析/RIN）、选件 IRC（扩展光通道的工作范围至 ± 50% 并以 10 和 42 Gb/s 之间的任意数据速率创建参考接收机）和 选件SIM（Infinisim 波形转化软件）。在单独使用 N1090A 系统时，将不能支持这些需要用到码型锁定时钟的测量。在用 N1090A 对脉冲（而非眼图）进行基础示波器模式测量时，其可测范围只限于持续时间小于 2 ns 的码型。
