The typical two-zone load frequency control model is taken as an example to consider the different wind power permeability. The simulation results show that the proposed decentralized load frequency control model based on model predictive control can not only effectively track the random fluctuation of wind power output, but also maintain the change of system frequency and inter-area exchange power in a small range, and the control effect is significantly better than that of conventional PI load frequency controller.)
