Simple but effective example of "Region Growing" from a single seed point. The region is iteratively grown by comparing all unallocated neighbouring pixels to the region. The difference between a pixel s intensity value and the region s mean, is used as a measure of similarity. The pixel with the smallest difference measured this way is allocated to the region. This process stops when the intensity difference between region mean and new pixel becomes larger than a certain treshold

本程序需要用到MATLAB遗传算法工具箱，但是遗传算法工具箱有很多种，这里使用GEATbx工具箱，该工具箱是由英国Sheffield大学开发。(This program requires MATLAB genetic algorithm toolbox, but there are many genetic algorithm toolbox used here GEATbx toolkit, which was developed by the University of Sheffield, UK.)

1.附件结构: gatbx.rar: (1)gatbx-origin.zip (2)gatbx-toolbox.rar (3)gatbx-example.rar 2.调试所用Matlab版本是6.5，gatbx-toolbox是调试过程中使用的工具箱，有些热心的研友已经提供了该工具箱，之所以再贴一遍，是因为6.5版本下调试该工具箱会出现一些错误提示，在该版本中已经进行了改正，使用该工具箱只需要将压缩包下的gatbx和gatbxTest_fns加入到Matlab搜索路径即可，另外gatbx-origin是Sheffield大学提供的原始版本的工具箱，未做任何改动，两者可做比较之用 《MATLAB 遗传算法工具箱及应用》 作　者：雷英杰 张善文 李续武 周创明 出版社：西安电子科技大学出版社 本书系统介绍MATLAB遗传算法和直接搜索工具箱的功能特点、编程原理及使用方法。全书共分为9章。()
