Fetal ECG (FECG) monitoring enables accurate measurement of fetal cardiac performance including transient or permanent abnormalities of rhythm. During labor and delivery, the heartbeat of the baby is monitored in order to make sure that enough blood flow and oxygen are getting through to the unborn fetus.
