The most widely used transform for image fusion at multi scale is Wavelet Transform since it minimizes structural distortions. But, wavelet transform suffers lack of shift invariance & poor directionality. These disadvantages are overcome by using our proposed method that is Un-decimated Discrete Wavelet Transform.
